Following an online consultation, we are available for home visits in the Cape Town Southern Suburbs should you require a physical examination.
This will be at the clinical discretion of our doctor.
Our prescriptions are fully legally compliant in accordance with the stipulations of electronic prescribing (Regulation 33 of the Medicines and Related Substances Act).
They do not need to be sent from the doctor's rooms for any schedule of medicine.
The AES signed script that you will receive is the original script.
If our doctor deems it more appropriate for you to receive care at an in-person facility, this will be promptly communicated and a referral will be provided.

About our founder
Meet Dr Mahdiyyah Hoosen

Hi, I'm Mahdiyyah!
I'm a GP with a special interest in HealthTech, AI and mental health. I want to practice evidence-based, good medicine and believe we can utilise technology to make this more accessible to all.

I studied at Wits University, obtaining a:
-
Bachelor of Science degree (Human Physiology and Human and Comparative Biology) in 2016
-
Medical degree (MBBCh) in 2020

My 2-year internship as a junior doctor was spent at the iconic Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town. I then did 1-year of Community Service at the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital, working mostly in Paediatric Surgery.

I have worked in numerous medical specialties including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Family Medicine, Psychiatry, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatric Surgery, Burns and Anaesthetics, across multiple facilities at various levels.
Holistic, primary prevention of disease is key in improving health. This, along with client empowerment, allows people to take ownership of their health. I strongly advocate for this.
I live in Cape Town with my husband, baby boy and two cats. We love going on walks in our beautiful city, ocean swims and spending quality time together.
